Required Qualifications:
- Valid and current state certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist for practice in schools
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, though Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Experience providing direct SLP services in educational settings is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech and language therapy to students as stipulated in their IEPs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine student needs and eligibility for services
- Develop tailored treatment plans and set measurable therapy goals
- Maintain thorough, accurate records and timely documentation per district and legal guidelines
- Collaborate actively with teachers, special educators, and families to support students’ overall development
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and in-service opportunities
