Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- SLP-CCC preferred; strong SLP-CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings highly valued
- Competency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Dedication to fostering student growth and engagement in diverse school communities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy services to students with varying needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, maintain evaluation records, and develop IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to deliver holistic care
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary teams
- Track progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation for compliance and student success
- Provide education and resources to staff and families on communication strategies
