Speech Language Pathologist in Hanover, PA
Make a significant impact supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade with onsite speech-language pathology services for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract role offers a rewarding opportunity to practice in a collaborative school environment, helping students improve their communication skills and thrive academically.
You’ll work onsite Monday through Friday, providing direct support across the entire building—no virtual assignments at this time. Use your expertise as you design and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborate with teachers, and serve as a valued resource for students and staff.
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology certification required
- Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience delivering speech therapy services in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop IEP goals for students in need of speech-language therapy
- Deliver direct therapy and monitor student progress across all grade levels
- Work closely with classroom teachers and other service providers to support student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team planning, and professional development
- Maintain comprehensive records in accordance with school and state requirements
This position begins August 17, 2026 and continues through May 28, 2027, working 35 hours per week. You’ll make a difference in the lives of students and become part of a supportive educational culture dedicated to student success.
