Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP license in Texas and ASHA CCC-SLP certification
- Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage required documentation, including maintaining an accurate weekly timelog for administrative approval
- Adept organization and flexibility to manage caseloads at one or two school sites
- Commitment to professional collaboration and communication with educational teams, families, and administration
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services to students according to individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement therapy plans that support student academic and social success
- Maintain compliance by keeping timely and accurate therapy documentation and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure all workplace hours are tracked and approved according to district policy
- Adapt to varying school environments and schedule your own service times within the week
