Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Granbury, TX
Step into a meaningful contract opportunity that makes a true difference for elementary-aged children needing speech and language services. A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide prop share services for private school students and homeschoolers who attend a local elementary setting for therapy support. Service is set to begin in early August and runs through early June, with a focus on primarily articulation-driven cases. Last year, the SLP managed a manageable caseload of approximately seven students, offering therapy individually or in pairs.
Bring your expertise to a school community that values dedicated professionals and flexible scheduling arrangements. Historically, services are coordinated on select Wednesdays—eight sessions from September through the first semester, and an additional eight to ten Wednesdays for the second semester, each from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. However, there is flexibility to accommodate the right provider’s schedule.
Desired Experience & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience in pediatric or school settings, preferring individualized and small group therapy
- Comfort with planning, implementing, and documenting goal-based speech therapy
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review and understand individualized student speech goals
- Plan targeted speech therapy lessons
- Deliver direct therapy for primarily articulation needs
- Document student progress and communicate updates as needed
- Collaborate with school staff and prop share team
