Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as a school-based SLP
- Experience delivering teletherapy and traditional onsite services in school environments
- Familiarity with IEP processes, goal-setting, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting children and adolescents with a range of speech and language needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in a school setting, utilizing both in-person and teletherapy modalities as needed
- Conduct assessments, develop educational plans, and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and goal achievement
- Document intervention, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively regarding caseload and student performance
- Adapt therapy strategies to meet the unique cultural, developmental, and learning needs of each student
