The assignment is contract-based and begins in early December 2026.
Key requirements and skills:
- Valid SLP license in the state
- Completed Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working in pediatric and school settings
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Comfortable managing a diverse caseload with varying communication needs
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to PreK–8th grade students as determined by IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans customized to student needs
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation on student progress
- Work closely with another speech therapist scheduled for 8 hours weekly, primarily providing evaluations
- Engage with educators and parents to support student communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams
