- Prior experience working with students in K-12 settings is advantageous
- Strong skills in teletherapy preferred, alongside traditional therapy methods
- Collaborative, communicative, and adaptable approach to working on interdisciplinary teams
Key responsibilities in this role:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy services for students with a range of communication challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and caregivers
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of student progress and session notes
- Adapt service delivery via in-person or teletherapy platforms to best meet student needs
- Act as a resource for teachers, staff, and families on communication strategies and interventions
- Support school teams with RTI (Response to Intervention) and pre-referral strategies as needed
