Working onsite in a vibrant learning environment, you will collaborate with dedicated educators and specialists to foster student success from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule at 35 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (PA SLP Cert)
- State teaching certification required upon application
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working as an SLP in a school setting (K-12 preferred)
- Comprehensive understanding of evaluation and intervention processes for speech and language services
- Strong collaboration, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services across the K-12 student population
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy aligned with IEP requirements
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support students’ academic and social communication needs
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current in the field
