You'll be caring for a diverse range of learners in elementary, middle, or high school—placement is flexible based on your interest and expertise. Caseload sizes are intentionally kept between 50-60 to ensure each child receives focused attention. Hours vary by campus: Elementary 7:30 am–4:00 pm, Middle 7:45 am–4:00 pm, and High 8:30 am–4:00 pm.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Comfortable working with K-12 student populations
- Genuine enthusiasm for providing in-person therapy and collaborating with educators
- Strong organizational skills to manage moderate caseloads
- Effective communicator and team player
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored speech-language therapy to support communication, academic, and social development
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff
- Track student progress through data-driven methods and maintain compliant documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student success stories
