School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Garland, Texas

Take your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to the next level with a dynamic contract opportunity in a vibrant educational setting near Garland, TX. This year-round position supports both children and adults, offering the chance to make a lasting impact through individualized speech, language, and feeding therapy.
With a flexible caseload of approximately 9-10 students or clients each day, you'll engage in a variety of sessions that include initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and both speech and malfunction-focused therapy. SLPs and SLPAs are encouraged to apply—your skills will be valued and your growth supported.
What we’re seeking:
- Current license or eligibility to practice as an SLP (CCC) or SLPA in Texas
- Experience or strong interest in school-based and/or adult therapy settings
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with professionalism and care
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive evaluations and delivering tailored therapy plans
- Commitment to high-quality documentation and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Compassionate approach to serving children and adults with communication and feeding challenges
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and malfunction therapy sessions (1 hour each; 30 minutes for speech-only or malfunction-only sessions)
- Complete new and re-evaluations as assigned
- Provide feeding therapy when indicated
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers
- Maintain accurate records and document progress
