Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Demonstrated experience supporting pediatric populations in educational settings
- Background working with children across a range of developmental stages: Pre-K, Kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school
- Ability to design and implement effective IEPs and therapy plans
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
- Skilled in assessments, progress monitoring, and data-driven interventions
- Dedication to fostering inclusivity and empowering students of varying abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students in small groups and one-on-one, across grades Pre K–12
- Perform screenings, assessments, and develop targeted treatment plans to address articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, documenting progress and updating recommendations as needed
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to create effective learning environments
- Provide resources, strategies, and training for parents and teachers to support student success in and out of the classroom
- Maintain accurate records, follow school compliance procedures, and contribute to a positive, inclusive school community
