Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and current state SLP license
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with pediatric populations, including Pre-K through Grade 12
- Skilled at creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of communication disorders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage caseloads spanning early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech and language abilities using appropriate assessment tools
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide therapy to individuals and groups, with interventions suited to student age and ability
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student progress and goals
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise for goal setting and service recommendations
- Support students’ functional communication skills for academic and social success
