Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Fort Wayne, IN
Position Overview
- Status: Full-Time (Monday–Friday)
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Location: On-site school district in Fort Wayne, IN
- Caseload: Elementary, middle, and high school student populations
- Supervision: Clinical Fellowship (CFY) mentorship is available for recent graduates
- Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Therapy: Provide direct speech and language interventions tailored to student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Support Core Needs: Implement specialized communication strategies, behavioral interventions, and assistive technology for diverse learning profiles.
- Track Progress: Maintain meticulous data collection, manage progress reports, and document student growth under district guidelines.
- Collaborate: Partner actively with special education teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and families to optimize learning environments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensure: Active or pending Indiana state SLP License / Speech-Language Pathology Credential.
- Education: Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Mindset: Collaborative team player with excellent organizational and verbal communication skills.
