Speech Language Pathologist in Fontana, CA
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based assignment. Located in the greater Claremont area, you’ll work three days per week, with additional responsibilities attending IEP meetings as needed. What you'll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience providing speech therapy in K-12 educational settings
- Strong understanding of IEP documentation and compliance
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary educational team
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group therapy to students with diverse speech and language needs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to tailor intervention plans
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings, supporting goal development and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with education regulations
