School Speech Language Pathologist - Corona, CA

A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to cover a leave of absence, beginning as soon as possible. This opportunity requires working three days a week, from 8:00 am to 2:45 pm, with additional attendance at IEP meetings as required. You’ll collaborate with school staff and families to provide essential speech and language services to students in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of the IEP process and documentation
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload of diverse learners
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive learning and supporting student growth
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, or communication challenges
- Conduct individual and small group therapy sessions in accordance with student IEPs
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to facilitate student success
