Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Speech-Language Pathology license (California)
- Previous experience within a school setting strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Confident with assessment, intervention, and collaboration
- Organized, reliable, and excellent communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Assess, diagnose, and write comprehensive speech and language reports
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and stay current with documentation requirements
Position Details:
- Contract position covering a leave of absence
- ASAP start date
- Schedule: 3 days per week, 8:00am-2:45pm, with additional IEP meeting attendance as needed
