School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Fontana, California
Step into a meaningful role supporting schools as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) where your expertise will directly help students excel. In this as-needed, on-call opportunity, you’ll take on bilingual assessment responsibilities for three students prior to September 10, utilizing your clinical knowledge and language fluency to provide targeted evaluations.
What we’re seeking:
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments in both English and another language
- Expertise in evaluating and documenting student communication needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliability and responsiveness in an on-call, as-needed environment
Key responsibilities:
- Administer thorough speech and language assessments for assigned students, ensuring compliance with school standards and timelines
- Prepare clear, concise, and accurate assessment reports
- Collaborate with educators and parents to discuss findings and recommendations
- Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services during evaluations
- Maintain detailed records and adhere to confidentiality standards
