Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Proven experience as a bilingual assessor, with proficiency in administering assessments in English and a second language
- Prior experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work flexible, on-call hours as assessment needs arise
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive, culturally appropriate speech and language assessments for students referred by school teams
- Complete initial evaluations for three students prior to September 10
- Prepare detailed, timely reports outlining assessment findings and recommendations
- Collaborate effectively with educational staff and families to support student development
- Maintain all necessary documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
