Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Fontana, California

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in California (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or active Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations and school-aged children
- Solid knowledge of evaluation tools, IEP processes, and progress monitoring
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic interventions in school settings
- Compassionate, collaborative, and eager to adapt in a dynamic environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with student needs
- Document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with regulations
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student development
- Offer expertise and training to staff on communication strategies
- Support students across a range of needs, including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
