Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid California SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs and special education documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy to students with varied speech, language, and communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results to develop individualized therapy plans
- Create, implement, and monitor IEP goals for students in accordance with district and state regulations
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and communicate updates with all relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to support each student’s educational journey
- Educate and support teachers and families regarding speech and language development strategies
