Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, valid California SLP license or eligibility
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs and special education documentation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy to students with varied speech, language, and communication needs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results to develop individualized therapy plans
  • Create, implement, and monitor IEP goals for students in accordance with district and state regulations
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and communicate updates with all relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to support each student’s educational journey
  • Educate and support teachers and families regarding speech and language development strategies
