Make a meaningful difference supporting PreK–5th grade students as a speech-language pathologist working with a dedicated elementary caseload, providing approximately 60 service hours each month. This contract opportunity offers flexibility with preference for onsite services but openness to teletherapy if needed. The assignment spans from August 26, 2026, to June 11, 2027, providing ample time to make an impact over the school year.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current, active SLP-CCC license for Maryland is required
- Prior experience in Maryland schools is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with K–5 student populations and elementary caseload management
- Ability to deliver effective therapy both onsite and via teletherapy platforms if needed
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to facilitate student progress and documentation
- Collaborative spirit for partnering with teachers, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to PreK–5th grade students, with a caseload of about 60 service hours per month
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
- Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and track student progress as required by school standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational outcomes
- Serve students onsite, with remote (VOCO) options considered in special circumstances
