School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Hurlock, Maryland

What you need to succeed:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license for Maryland
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience in Maryland schools is strongly preferred
- Familiarity working with elementary-aged students and delivering a minimum of 60 service hours per month
- Comfortable with both onsite and teletherapy service models
Key responsibilities:
- Serve PreK–5th grade students in a school-based setting, providing comprehensive speech-language assessments, intervention, and therapy
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in line with state and school guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive educational experience for all students
- Flexibility to adapt services to meet the needs of both onsite and remote learners
As part of this contract engagement, you will be scheduled for 35 hours per week from August 2026 through June 2027. This unique assignment offers the chance to build rapport with students and collaborate with dedicated school professionals in a supportive environment.
