Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Silver Spring, MD

Key qualifications and experience desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings a plus
- Familiarity or comfort with teletherapy platforms and technology
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Compassion and adaptability in working with students with mild diagnoses and disorders
Core responsibilities:
- Provide direct evaluation and therapy services for students with mild speech and language impairments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educational teams
- Maintain thorough records, progress reports, and communication with families and staff
- Engage in school-based SLP programs, including teletherapy as needed
- Consult and provide resources to classroom teachers and other school professionals
