Step into a meaningful contract role supporting preschool students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This position, located near Federal Way, WA, offers the opportunity to make a difference from August 31st, 2026 through June 15th, 2027, working 35-37.5 hours each week over five days. Collaborate closely with a dedicated school team and provide essential interventions for early learners. SLPAs are encouraged to apply.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Washington state licensure (or eligibility to obtain one)
  • Previous experience or strong interest working with preschool-aged children
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary educational team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to providing onsite services throughout the assignment
  • Open to both SLPs and SLPAs meeting required qualifications

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for preschoolers
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans rooted in IEP goals
  • Provide direct intervention and support to students according to best practices
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult with families, teachers, and other specialists to ensure holistic student support
  • Foster an engaging, supportive, and positive environment onsite
