Qualifications & Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- SLP-CCC preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
- Washington state licensure or eligibility required
- Experience with PreK-5 student populations
- Familiarity with AAC devices a plus, but not mandatory
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students’ speech and language abilities
- Develop, write, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct SLP services focused on articulation, expressive/receptive language, fluency, and more
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff regarding student needs and progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
