This contract opportunity is designed for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is passionate about empowering students in PreK through 5th grade to reach their fullest potential. You’ll enjoy working with a well-defined caseload of approximately 45 students, all located conveniently at one site near Airway Heights, WA.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license in Washington
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required
  • Previous experience working with early elementary or elementary-age children is a plus
  • Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is helpful but not necessary
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students
  • Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) according to student needs
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy in person, addressing articulation, language, and related needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure best outcomes
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress monitoring
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision making
