Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Holds ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or is a Clinical Fellow (CF) with supervision in place
- Experience or a keen interest in pediatric and school-based settings
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and caregivers to ensure optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with standards and regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team planning
- Provide consultation and support to educational staff regarding speech and language development
