Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Washington
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school environments
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and document student progress
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate speech-language interventions into the classroom
- Educate and support families on best practices for reinforcing therapy goals at home
- Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive educational environment
