Desired qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
- Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings highly valued
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans and manage IEP compliance
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and provide direct intervention for students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs
- Maintain thorough and timely records; prepare reports for IEP meetings
- Communicate progress and recommendations to staff and families
- Participate in intervention planning, team meetings, and professional development
- Support an inclusive, positive educational environment by providing consultation and training to school staff
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet individualized student goals
