Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or actively pursuing
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school-based settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
- Adaptability and commitment to delivering high-quality, student-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results
- Provide direct therapy services addressing articulation, language, fluency, and/ or social communication needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation as required
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and administrators to support inclusive learning
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Offer guidance and resources to families regarding speech and language development
