Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid and current state SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY considered
- Experience in pediatric settings, especially within schools, strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in dynamic school environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and measurable goals based on student IEPs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and documentation in accordance with school and federal guidelines
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based, engaging interventions
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expert recommendations and advocating for student needs
