School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Cheney, Washington

This contract position is based at a single school site, focusing on a caseload of approximately 45 students spanning preschool through 5th grade.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CFs will be considered
- Experience working with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices is a plus but not a strict requirement
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students, documenting findings and recommendations
- Develop, write, and update IEPs according to state and federal guidelines
- Deliver targeted SLP services addressing articulation, language, and related needs
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes to support students’ individual growth
- Consult with general and special education staff regarding students’ needs and strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment
