Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Either Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCC’s) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience or a strong desire to work with pediatric populations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering students’ academic and social growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Document and track student performance, prepare progress reports, and maintain compliance with related documentation requirements
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights
- Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure the highest quality of care and interventions
