Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates will be considered
- Previous school-based experience or a strong interest in working in academic settings
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to design and implement both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and staff
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions in-person, focusing on speech, language, and related disorders
- Monitor student progress, provide ongoing documentation, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success across school settings
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development opportunities
