Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) considered
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practicing as an SLP in educational settings
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role is highly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP process, goal-setting, and documentation requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, diagnostics, and screenings for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s educational objectives
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and family members to support inclusive classroom practices
- Monitor student progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide therapy using a variety of evidence-based techniques to address articulation, fluency, voice, language, and pragmatic needs
- Educate school personnel and families on strategies to support student communication
