School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Kaneohe, Hawaii

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active state-specific Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility for HI licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Consideration also given to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Experience or strong interest in working within K-12 school settings
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to K-12 students individually or in groups
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to develop and implement IEPs
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations
- Educate school staff and parents on strategies to support student communication
