School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Ewa Beach, Hawaii
Shape the communication skills and confidence of K-12 students by supporting them as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time contract position offers the chance to work with diverse students, ranging from elementary through high school, to help them overcome speech and language challenges and reach their full academic and social potential.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid and active state licensure as required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will also be considered
- Previous experience in a school environment is beneficial, though motivated new graduates are welcome to apply
- Ability to connect with students at all grade levels (K-12) and adapt techniques accordingly
- Skilled in IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliant documentation
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech-language and communication disorders within the school setting
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy, both individual and group, to K-12 students
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to student-support teams
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation on student progress and interventions
- Advocate for students’ needs, helping bridge communication gaps and supporting academic growth
