Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - San Diego, California

Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active California SLP or SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLPs, but welcome to Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Experience in a school or healthcare setting is highly valued
- Strong understanding of pediatric and adolescent communication disorders
- Comfort with teletherapy platforms and technology
- Ability to manage high school caseloads effectively
- Team player with robust communication skills and a student-focused mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic speech and language services to a high school caseload, tailoring interventions to individual and group needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and participate in the development of treatment plans
- Offer teletherapy sessions when needed, maintaining high standards of virtual care
- Supervise and mentor SLPA staff, contributing positively to team success
- Engage in school meetings and contribute to the overall student support mission
