Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Corona, California
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students in a school-based setting near Corona, CA! This role is designed for an SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) holding the CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) who thrives on making a direct impact in pediatric and K-12 populations. The assignment begins immediately and runs through the end of the current school year, with strong potential for renewal into the following year.
You’ll be dedicated to one school, working with a diverse caseload of 10-15 students ranging from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Your day will begin at 7:30am and wrap up by 3:00pm, allowing for a consistent, structured schedule. This position is exclusively for SLPs with proven experience—SLPAs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are not eligible, as the scope demands independent expertise.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP license in California with CCC required
- Demonstrated experience working in school-based pediatric settings
- Strong background in teletherapy and in-person service delivery models
- Skilled in assessment, intervention, and individualized education plans (IEPs) for K-12 students
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability with a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy for a K-12 caseload at a single school site
- Complete evaluations, develop goals, and create treatment plans aligned with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff for holistic student success
- Document and track progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
