Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ communication needs in California, working with a diverse caseload of learners from kindergarten through 12th grade. As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll play a vital role within a dedicated school community, helping students achieve meaningful progress throughout the school year. This position begins immediately and continues through the end of the current academic term, with the potential to renew for the next school year.

Your schedule will follow school-day hours, starting at 7:30am and concluding at 3:00pm, and you’ll work with a caseload of 10-15 students at a single school site. This setting fosters lasting relationships with students, families, and colleagues while allowing you to make a direct impact on student growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current and valid California SLP license
  • Prior experience in pediatric and school settings required
  • Skilled in teletherapy as well as in-person service delivery
  • Comfortable working independently with a K-12 caseload
  • Must not be SLPA or CF

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in K-12 students
  • Provide both direct and consultative services in accordance with student IEPs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
