School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Montgomery Creek, California
Make a meaningful impact working as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for the 2026/2027 school year. This opportunity is located near Montgomery Creek, CA, providing services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade within a friendly and collaborative school environment. Hours can be flexible, with standard school days running from 8:00 am to 3:15 pm, and elementary students dismissing earlier.
Work directly with a caseload of approximately 15-20 students, using your skills to help support their communication and language development. Candidates with SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or strong school-based experience are encouraged to apply. If you are a current in-person SLPA, you’ll enjoy a similar caseload focused mostly on elementary-level students, collaborating under the guidance of an experienced SLP.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders (for SLPs)
- Valid CCC or CFY credentials; SLPAs must hold a current, active license
- Prior school-based experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work in-person and serve a diverse student population
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based direct therapy and language interventions
- Conduct evaluations, document progress, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Offer support for students of varying grade levels and abilities
- For SLPAs, deliver services under SLP supervision and focus on elementary caseload
