Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience working with children in Pre K, elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in a school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language deficits
- Design and deliver effective therapy sessions for students in Pre K–12
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students’ academic and social growth
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
- Educate and support families and caregivers on communication strategies
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
