Grades 6 - 8 Elementary School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | San Jose, California

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary education teams to ensure students reach their communication potential. Your expertise will help foster an inclusive, supportive classroom and empower students to succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience in schools is highly valued, especially serving ages Pre-K through Grade 12
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention techniques for various age groups
- Skilled in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to a variety of student needs and educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, screening, and direct therapy for students of all ages
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to design and implement IEPs
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports
- Deliver engaging, culturally responsive therapy sessions
- Offer training and support for classroom staff and families as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support student growth and success
