Speech Language Pathologist in Elk Grove, CA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Prior experience with school-aged students highly preferred
- Skilled in both in-person and teletherapy delivery models
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to craft individualized treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy, both face-to-face and via teletherapy, to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, create reports, and support eligibility determinations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to promote generalization of skills across environments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support strategies
- Foster a positive, empowering atmosphere to help students reach their fullest communication potential
