What you bring:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (state requirements must be met)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship
- Previous experience in school settings, especially with K-12 students
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and the ability to collaborate interprofessionally
- Compassionate, student-centered approach to therapy
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational best practices
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students K–12 in an onsite school setting
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations of students’ speech and language needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Document progress, prepare timely reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult with faculty, parents, and other stakeholders to support each child’s progress
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
