Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Recent experience providing speech therapy in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with documentation and development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting students’ unique communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support academic achievement and inclusion
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including IEPs and progress notes
- Engage and communicate with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and strategies for home support
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions onsite
