Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in educational settings, particularly working with school-aged children
  • Proficiency in delivering teletherapy sessions a strong plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders among students
  • Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs, including direct and virtual (teletherapy) services
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state standards
  • Provide consultation and support to educators, parents, and caregivers on speech and language strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student goals
  • Stay informed on current best practices in speech therapy and teletherapy modalities
