Exciting opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to make a meaningful impact working with elementary students for the 2025-26 school year. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to collaborate on-site with a dedicated team, supporting a manageable caseload of 30-35 students at a single school. You’ll have the satisfaction of directly helping young learners build communication skills essential for their academic and social success.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Active State SLP License
- State Teaching Certificate (Education Specialist or equivalent)
- Current State Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience with pediatric or school-based speech-language pathology
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms a plus (though this is an on-site role)
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct intervention for students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain accurate, timely records and progress reports as required by state and district guidelines
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support planning
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech-language goals within classroom routines
- Communicate effectively with families about student needs and progress
Compensation for this position ranges from $40 to $55 per hour, commensurate with experience.
