Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Stafford, VA

The school-based schedule encompasses 185 full-time days, starting August 3, 2026, and ending May 27, 2027. Assignments are available across all student age groups—elementary, middle, and high school—accommodating your preferred level and expertise.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Virginia SLP license required prior to start
- Experience providing speech and language services in a school setting highly valued
- Adaptable to working with diverse age ranges and caseloads
- Committed to in-person (on-site only) service delivery—virtual or hybrid models are not offered
- Able to initiate Virginia Department of Social Services credentialing promptly
- Willingness to complete a TB Test according to VA requirements
- Effective communicator, both with students and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Manage a caseload determined by district needs, with assignments possible at all educational levels
- Maintain accurate documentation aligned with school and state standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and ongoing progress monitoring
