School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Dover, Pennsylvania
Advance your Speech Language Pathology career in an educational setting dedicated to student growth and support. Dynamic opportunities are available for three onsite SLP professionals in the Dover, PA region to serve local schools and early intervention programs. Collaborate closely with experienced educators and multidisciplinary teams while making a crucial difference for children from early childhood through K-12.
Available Roles: • Two positions: Provide in-person SLP services for a caseload of 50–55 students spanning two elementary buildings, including both regular education and autistic support settings, for North Eastern School District. Hours are 8:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through Friday (35 hours per week). The assignment runs from August 18, 2026 to May 27, 2027, with some case management responsibilities. • One position: Focus on Early Intervention (ages 3–5) in New Oxford/Gettysburg supporting children with special education needs. This is a year-round role (8:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday) and includes weekly dedicated paperwork time and frequent school breaks for work-care balance.
Qualifications: • Hold a valid Pennsylvania SLP certification and teaching certification (must be submitted with your resume). • Commitment to onsite, in-person therapy (no remote or virtual work at this time). • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. • Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply—CF supervision available if your agency provides the supervision fee. • SLPAs are not eligible.
Key Responsibilities: • Deliver assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy to students. • Collaborate with special education, classroom teachers, families, and related services. • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in case management as assigned. • Foster an inclusive, supportive environment where every student can thrive.
