Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid Michigan SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfort working with students with various communication, language, and social needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and fellow support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and deliver individualized treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Manage a diverse caseload of 41 students, adjusting therapy delivery for ages ranging from elementary to high school
- Develop and maintain IEPs, thorough progress reporting, and engaging therapy sessions
- Travel between four school buildings as part of your regular schedule
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate to support student success
- Provide resources, consultation, and training for staff and families as needed
- Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines for service delivery
