Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Freeport, Illinois

Desired qualifications and experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience in pediatric or school-based therapy preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms a plus
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and collaboration
- Effective communication with students, staff, and families
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct therapy sessions to elementary students, individually or in small groups
- Evaluating and identifying students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Consulting with teachers and families to support students’ progress and generalization of skills
- Engaging in professional development and team meetings as required
This position offers a steady, predictable schedule of 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality services and making meaningful connections within the school community.
