Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility, including new graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience or strong interest working within school-based or pediatric settings
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology is a plus
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes, assessments, and service delivery models for children ages 5–11
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices, creative problem-solving, and a passion for student growth
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with students, teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to elementary school students
  • Conducting screenings, evaluations, and formal assessments to determine eligibility and needs
  • Developing, implementing, and updating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintaining detailed documentation, progress monitoring, and timely reports
  • Participating actively in IEP meetings and collaborative planning with faculty and related service staff
  • Adapting service delivery through in-person and, when needed, virtual platforms to maximize learning
